"I began my CrossFit journey at Steel Monkey Crossfit in November 2015. I was 45-years old and just 2 years out from back surgery thinking there was no way CrossFit was for me. However, I discovered that I was wrong. I quickly realized that with excellent coaches, a mindful awareness of what my limitations were and an understanding of the scaling options offered for all age and skill levels that I would be successful in CrossFit.
